May Previews (for July Shipping)

I'm posting my thoughts on the May Previews (for July Shipping) for Dark Horse Comics. Mostly for myself, but folks can read & comment, too! (I'm only commenting on the NEW things listed.)

Star Wars: Invasion #1 of 5: 25 years after Battle of Yavin, the Yuuzahn Vong are invading. Tommy Taylor (who I thought was a fictional character from DC/Vertigo's Unwritten!) is writing, but I've never heard of him!

B.P.R.D. 1947: Follow up to 1946, of course.
WitchFinder #1 of 5: written by Mike Mignola, so I'll link this to B.P.R.D. and HellBoy cross reference. It doesn't say what time period or universe this takes place in, but I'm assuming it's a spin off of B.P.R.D..
HellBoy: The Ice Wolves: $12.95 I will NOT be ordering this for my regular HellBoy subscriptions. It's just too expensive for something without Mignola's name on it. If you want it, let me know.
The Marquis: Inferno: Same deal as above. Too expensive. If you want it, order it! [Grin]
Creepy #1 (ongoing): Horror anthology. Personally, two of my least favorite things. The $4.99 price tag doesn't help, either, but it's only Quarterly (4 per year, one every 3 months). Bernie Wrightson is a bonus.
Dethlok vs Goon (one shot): Damn. I used "two of my least favorite" on the last one. I'm just going to link this to Goon and hope for the best. If anyone likes Metalocalypse, let me know.
Noir: also not going to order random copies of this. If you like Brian Azzarello, Ed Brubaker, Paul Grist, David Lapham, Dean Motter or any of the other indie creators working on this, let me know. I'll order it for you. $12.95
Emily the Strange #1 of 4: I've already got an Emily link, but I wouldn't mind getting a few extra copies and getting some new folks hooked on this interesting book.
Citizen Rex #1 of 6: Hernandez brothers, but without a huge breasted woman on the cover? I'm going to link this to Love & Rockets & hope for the best.
Pictures that Tick: $19.95 Dave McKean writing and art. I'd love to get this, but I can't afford a shelf copy. Please order this!!
